Bishop Elijah Thuo is the Assistant General Treasurer of Apostolic Faith Church Kenya, Regional Overseer of Nakuru & North Rift B Regions.

Bishop Elijah Thuo came to know the Lord Jesus Christ in 1979. He was called  to ministry  in 1981 and started  the  first assembly at Pwani Lare location,  Njoro sub country, Nakuru County.  The church grew to a big assembly with 1/3 acres please of land, permanent church building. After giving birth to other churches, Njoro Lare Parish was born.

Bishop Elijah Thuo was ordained on April, 24th 1987 and confirmed the Parish minister of Njoro Lare Parish. Later Bishop Elijah was elected Assistant Regional Overseer in Nakuru Region. In January, 1989 he enrolled for Diploma in Theology at Nairobi Pentecost Bible College and graduated on 23rd November 1991.

In November 1998 Bishop Elijah was elected as Nakuru Regional Overseer a position he has served to date. The Region has grown tremendously; it has 32 assemblies. In the same year December 1998, he was elected in the office of the National General Treasurer of Apostolic Faith Church, where he served until 2010, when he became the Assistant General Treasurer up to date.

In March 2013 was requested by the general office to help oversee our Region in West Pokot known as North rift B Region where he is also the overseer to date. North Rift B Region has 12 assemblies.

Bishop Elijah Thuo got married to Margret Muthoni Thuo on 20th October, 1979. They are blessed with seven children: 3 girls and 4 boys.
